Wi-fi Neighbors
Big thanks goes out to 'belkin54g' and 'linksys' for providing me Internet access at my Dad's house. My father was surprised to see me walking around his house with my laptop running Macstumbler searching for open access points.

FTP Servers for Windows
Yesterday, a friend of mine asked for recommendations for FTP servers that run on Windows. Ipswitch was the only company that came to mind. I visited their web site and discovered that they market WS_FTP Server at $395.00 per copy. Next, I did a quick search on google and found an article covering the top 3 FTP programs for Windows; WS_FTP Server[$395], War FTP Daemon [LGPL], Serv-U FTP Server [$39.95].

Happy Birthday & Copyright
I have already heard the story on why restaurant chains come up with different versions of singing "Happy Birthday" to their patrons. Today I happened to stumble on to a link from snopes.com web site that discusses the reason why "Happy Birthday" still gets $2 million a year in royalties.

Popfile 0.20.1
Just got around to upgrading to Popfile 0.20.1. Since I read install documentation as a last resort, I'll pass on a little tip. You must have BerkeleyDB.pm module installed for this version to run.

XP and SMB Signing
I finished reading Brian Livingston's article titled, "XP's slipped disks." He covers a data loss problem when Window XP workstation writes data to Window 2000 server or a NT server.
If you encounter this problem, just turn off signing using Group Policy and a setting described in article 321733.

Saddam Captured in Raid Near Tikrit
Without firing a single shot, U.S. forces captured Saddam Hussein as he hid in the bottom of a hole in a home near Tikrit, officials announced Sunday at a Baghdad press conference.
I'm reading blogs this morning while my daughter watches Shrek. I'm completely shocked after reading Jeremy's post that Sadam was captured. Thank God. Shrek is off and FoxNews is on.
