qmail How-to
Joe Stumps has a well written 3-part article titled, "Building an Advanced Mail Server" which uses qmail as the mta.
This article discusses how to build an advanced mail server which sports all of the latest mail protocols, checks all incoming mail for spam, and scans all incoming and outgoing mail for viruses.
The wonderful folks over at Inter7 developed vpopmail to handle the management of virtual domains using Qmail. Unfortunately vpopmail is limited to a measly 23 million virtual hosts, of which each are limited to only 23 million users. So if you have more than 529 trillion users you may need to look elsewhere.

Netflix in Austin
I can hardly believe it. Netflix has open a distribution center in Austin. Instead of mailing DVDs between Austin and Houston with a 3-day travel time, I will get nearly same day service with the center in Austin.
Thanks Netflix!

Found Book
When I checked my email this morning, I was surprised to hear from Book Crossing, a site the promotes the sharing of books. Apparently I finally had someone find one of my books and make a post about it. I'm glad my book is being read instead of collecting dust on my crowded bookshelf.
Cool.

Ethical Hacking
Nice article from Information Week. Ryan Breed, the ethical hacker/cracker, is hired to break into computers to demonstrate security vulnerabilities.
This article has some great quotes.
"Why don't we just close that up and pretend it didn't happen," joked the IT manager.
"That's my home address!" says the director.
"What is that and why can he access it?" asks the company director. The IT manager explains that it's a remote-system-administration tool.

Switch Video
Thanks to Spencer for pointing out this humorous switch video, "Crash Different." Even though it took some time to download the 49 MB mpeg file, it was worth it.
